Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is designed to identify the knowledge, skills and experience you currently have and translate these in into qualifications. Because each person has a different career path behind them RPL is a vary individualised process.

Typically you will be asked to collect evidence of your abilities and this may include a detailed resume, JP certified copies of any certificates or qualificatoins you already have, work samples, reports from a supervisor or manager attesting to your skills, job description and any other relevant informaiton or materials.

Once the eviedence is collected, the assessor will match what you have provided to the criteria for the qualification. Any identified gaps will need to be filled. This could be done via an interview, referee checks, collection of further work samples, shaddowing you at work, asking you to perform tasks in a simulated environment or any other method deemed suitable to your situation.

If gaps remain after these options have been exhaused, you will be asked to study those areas to complete your qualification.
Once you enrol you should collect as much evidence as you can and email or post it to us. Please do not send orriginal documents.

If there isn't a class to suit you, please join the waiting list.
